Orange Magazine is looking for one young video-maker with a background in journalism to cover this year’s Nantes Creative Generations Forum. The candidate has to be between 18 and 30 years old and a citizen or a legal resident of the EU member state.
The Nantes Creative Generations Forum, which takes place every year in the autumn, aims to bring together young people to present their innovative and inspirational projects linked to citizenship. As well as showcasing their own projects, participants will have the chance to learn from peers across Europe and to gain better understanding of the European dimension of local projects.
Orange Magazine is a project of European Youth Press (EYP), an organization working for the benefit of young media-makers in Europe. Orange Magazine will provide photo coverage and create a general video about the event. The participant will be accompanied by one Orange core team journalist. The organizers will provide the Orange Magazine team with free access to the whole event including opportunities to interview both guest speakers and participants.
The video journalist will create one general video, which will include the highlights of the conference and some vox pops with the key guests and organizers of the event. Experience in video editing and camera shooting are required.
The forum will take place in Nantes, France, from 26th to 29th October 2016. Accommodation for three or four nights (depending on the flight’s schedules), local transportation and food are covered. Travel costs to/from Nantes are reimbursed (up to 400 euros).
The submission deadline is Sunday, 21st September 2016, 23h59 CET; and selected participants will be notified by Sunday, 28th September, 2016.
